The OsseoSeal™ Mineralized Collagen Strip is indicated for use in guided bone regeneration (GBR), sinus augmentation, and ridge contouring procedures where supplemental graft support is clinically desired. Unlike thin barrier membranes that primarily function as soft-tissue exclusion devices, this 3 mm mineralized collagen matrix may be used as an adjunct to particulate graft materials or as a bulk-supporting layer within the defect. Common Clinical Applications:
- Sinus Floor Elevation: May be positioned beneath or over graft material as part of the clinician’s regenerative protocol.
- Horizontal Ridge Augmentation: Used to assist with graft contouring in wider defects.
- Extraction Sites: Can be folded or adapted to conform to larger socket anatomies.
