K-Bond Universal is a single-bottle, light-cured universal adhesive developed to streamline bonding procedures while maintaining clinical versatility. Its 8th-generation formulation integrates etching, priming, and adhesive resin functionality into one homogeneous solution, simplifying application and reducing technique complexity. The adhesive is designed to accommodate total-etch, selective-etch, and self-etch protocols, allowing clinicians to tailor their bonding strategy according to enamel condition, dentin sensitivity considerations, and restorative objectives. Incorporating aliphatic amine chemistry, K-Bond Universal is formulated to support improved color stability compared to traditional aromatic amine systems. Dual-cure compatibility allows integration into core build-up procedures and selected indirect restorative cases requiring chemical polymerization support. Clinical indications include bonding of direct composite restorations, repair of existing composite restorations, core build-up procedures, and sealing of exposed dentin surfaces within desensitization protocols.
